METRO703, Haze Banks & Baebe Con – Way Too Real Video
METRO703, Haze Banks and Baebe Con put loyalty at the centre of "Way Too Real." Produced by ThisisBiggz, Cloudy and 92, its standard paint-by-numbers trap beat is slightly off-putting. The lyrics connect that pledge to hardship, retaliation and strained friendships.
The hook ties being real to standing by a brother, with threats of retaliation making that allegiance a risky obligation. Supporting somebody can mean being pulled into their conflict; the repeated pledge carries the possibility of consequences beyond the bond itself.
The verses give that stance a personal history through recollections of sleeping on the floor and exercising patience through hardship. References to cutting off friends complicate the loyalty talk, while a rejection of people copying whatever is new adds a demand for originality.
Mike Rose shot and edited the video, uploaded to ThisisBiggz’s channel on October 7, 2026. At times, it appears out of sync with the performers’ vocal delivery, a distraction from the performances accompanying those accounts of hardship and fractured trust.
