Nas deflects the negativity on “No Bad Energy” off The Lost Tapes 2. The message here is that, Nassir is doing him and you should do you. While Nas addresses a few criticisms of his career, specifically the single “Oochie Wally” he bookends that by letting those haters know that their negativity hasn’t stopped him from living the good life.

The no frills video is classy in its simplicity. The first act has Nas sitting on a white piano in an all white room wearing a bright red sweatsuit. The contrast works incredibly well visually.
