We are a few days away from the release of Nas’ The Lost Tapes 2. Nas teases what’s to come with the release of “Jarreau of Rap (Skatt Attack)”. Her the queens icon plays verbal and melodic gymnastics to tailor his flow to the notes of the song. It’s a technique I’ve seen the likes of KRS-1 do on stage as well as some underground rappers. It’s not often used but when done well it’s impressive.
