Massiah Kaine – Ground 0 (Freestyle) Video

Massiah Kaine released the official video for “Ground 0 (Freestyle)” on September 25, 2026. Produced by Farrari Beats, the record is described as being from Kaine’s upcoming Midnight Mass project, which has no announced release date. Designer Films directed the video, giving the freestyle an official visual presentation as Kaine turns his attention inward.

Kaine uses the track to unpack inherited family trauma and the effects of growing up with an absent father. He considers what his mother endured, then measures those memories against his own responsibilities as a parent. His concern about repeating the same patterns gives the record its emotional weight, with fear, frustration, and hard-earned perspective driving the verses.

The writing grows more candid as Kaine addresses betrayal, street conditioning, physical and mental health, and strained relationships with his children. He treats writing as therapy while confronting regret over words left unsaid and circumstances he can no longer blame entirely on other people. Even his thoughts about a son who cannot yet walk lead back to the same difficult question: how does a man take responsibility for what he can change while carrying what he cannot?

“Ground 0 (Freestyle)” is real talk, introspective, grown-man rap rooted in self-examination. Kaine recognizes the hostility that has fueled him, accepts accountability for what he can change, and rejects destructive cycles designed to capture bodies and minds. The track ultimately finds him working to master his own mind.
