Kxng Crooked & Joell Ortiz – Backstage Video

First the Fat Boys break up…you know the rest. Kxng Crooked (aka Crooked I) and Joell Ortiz let us past the security guards and the public persona to the “Backstage”. This is an area away from the projected image pushed by PR agents. On the surface, before Slaughterhouse’s breakup, the four emcees, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, and Royce da 5’9″, seemed like a tight-knit family. Well if we take Crook and Ortiz’s side of the story as truth, it wasn’t so.

Joe and Royce seem to feel some type of way about their former partners making moves and addressing their previous situation. However, “Backstage” doesn’t come off as a dis record but more of one reminiscing on the good days and wishing they were back.

“Backstage” is off the forthcoming album Rise and Fall of Slaughterhouse from Kxng Crooked and Joell Ortiz.
