Willie Evans Jr.’s new album Introducin’ is out today via High Water Music. The full album is now streaming in full at AOL Music.

Along with the release of his album, Pharoahe Monch’s WAR Media has announced that Willie Evans Jr. is the newest addition to the We Are Renegades Family. Willie Evans Jr. will be joining like-minded artists Pharoahe Monch, Jean Grae, Mystic and DJ Mr Len as part of a growing and organic movement.

According to Dres of Black Sheep/Native Tongues, “Willie Evans Jr. and his crew are the closest thing to Native Tongues since Native Tongues.” Introducin’ is produced entirely by Willie Evans Jr. and features both his emcee and MPC skills. The album tells the story of a kid (Willie) who can’t learn music the traditional route, and then decides to use the MPC to express himself. The artwork for the album was hand crafted by UK’s visual artist/producer Ben Grymm.

Previously, Willie Evans Jr. has done extensive production work with Mr. Lif and Akrobatik of the Perceptionists and is a member of the Alias Brothers (formerly Asamov) with notable member Paten Locke aka DJ Therapy. He has been previously featured in URB, VIBE and has performed at Rock the Bells, Paid Dues and more.
