Star Wars and Biggie brought together for Life After Death Star by Otaku Gang

Otaku Gang - Life After Death Star

Very appropriate before the release of the upcoming December 18th release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, Otaku Gang releases a remix project throwing the Notorious B.I.G. into the Star Wars universe. The 17 track Life After Death Star starts with Biggie talking about coming up over the familiar John Williams theme that is the signature of the Lucas saga.

The album’s creative combination is similar to that of Danger Mouse’s The Grey Album which mixed The Beatles and Jay-Z. Rapper Richie Branson and producer Solar Slim as the duo Otaku Gang mixed various Biggie tracks with the soundtrack of the Star Wars: A New Hope. The result has B.I.G. on Tatooine putting space cats up on game about how to slang crack rock. No doubt for use in the mean streets of Mos Eisly.
