Rakim releases memoir Sweat the Technique: Revelations on Creativity from the Lyrical Genius

Rakim is one of the most influential emcees to ever come out of Hip Hop. He is your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper. When Rakim first came out no one was rhyming the way he was rhyming. His delivery and writing style was a revolution and evolved the style of emceeing. He was rightly named as “the greatest lyricist of all time” by The Source magazine. He influenced every emcee to ever touch a mic that ever came after him. Period.

Rakim recently released his memoir entitled Sweat the Technique: Revelations on Creativity from the Lyrical Genius. The God emcee is currently on a promotion tour for his new book. In the process of promoting Sweat the Technique, Rakim is doing something he doesn’t do often; interviews.
