Queen Latifah Returns to Hip-Hop with ‘Cue the Rain’ + American Idol Performance!

It’s official! Queen Latifah, the first lady of hip-hop, is ready to reclaim her throne with the release of her 9th studio album, ‘Persona’, due to drop on July 7th. The first single, “Cue the Rain”, will premiere tomorrow, May 19th, on her official website, queenlatifah.com, and will be available for digital download on iTunes.

Also, Queen Latifah is set to perform on the American Idol season finale, along with an all-star cast of talent including Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Lionel Richie, the Black Eyed Peas, and Keith Urban, as well as alums David Cook and Carrie Underwood.
