Mellow Man Ace featuring Dres and Mikey D – I Live For The Funk

Mellow Man Ace of the 1990 bilingual hit “Mentirosa” fame has been somewhat quiet over the years since but apparently hasn’t lost his gift to gab. “I Live for the Funk” takes the memorably line from the Lords of the Underground’s “Chief Rocka” as the hook and concept for Ace to ride the mid-tempo track with guests Dres of Black Sheep and Mikey D from Main Source. Ace starts off giving his respects to heads that he has presumably worked with over the years or he respects. The Cazal Organism produced track has a vibe that would be perfect for summer time top-down driving or back yard BBQ’s with friends and family.
