MC Shan Responds Masta Ace’s Symphony Account

A few years ago D. Nice released an incredible series called True Hip Hop Stories where he interviewed Hip Hop icons. They spoke on how their most known classic records came to being. One of those interviews was with Masta Ace recounting the tale of how he, the then youngster, came to claim a spot on the now classic “Symphony” with the Juice Crew (Big Daddy Kane, Craig G, Kool G Rap and Marley Marl). Ace’s accounted comes from a story he was told by Marley Marl regarding MC Shan’s absence from the record. MC Shan answers back and disputes what Ace was told by Marley.
