Common and John Legend – Glory Video

Congratulations to Common and John Legend for winning the Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards for Best Original Song with “Glory” from the Selma soundtrack. The credits also list Rhymest as a co-writer of the song. Common becomes the third Hip Hop artist to win an Oscar for music after Eminem for “Lose Yourself” from 8 Mile (2002) and Three 6 Mafia for “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp” from Hustle & Flow (2005).
