The Black Eyed Peas are here with a much needed message of positivity with “Be Nice”. They even brought Uncle Snoop along for the session. Snoop Dogg fits in so well on this vibe that he might need to think about doing collabs on will.i.am produced cuts. I will say this though, and I’m going to be nice, but the smiling face hoodie and blue bandana pants should have been rethought. I’m still not a fan of the auto-tune sound and would like a version of this without it because the energy is nice on this joint. By the way, where’s Fergie?
“Be Nice” was the winning song on the NBC tv show Songland and was written by Adam Friedman. Songland is a show where artists pitch their original songs to famous recording artists in hopes of creating the next hit. The Black Eyed Peas version is a bit different than that of the original. Some fans were displeased with B.E.P.’s take. What do you think?
