Joey Majors and Big Yount – Wolf Talk
Joey Majors continues to build his name within the Black Soprano Family camp with the release of Wolf Talk, a new collaborative album alongside emcee/producer Big Yount. BSF, founded by Benny the Butcher, has become one of the more respected movements in modern East Coast rap, known for its gritty, street-rooted sound and emphasis on lyricism. Within that ecosystem, Joey Majors has been steadily carving out his own lane, often tying his music to the W.O.L.F. concept — “We Only Love Family” — which frames loyalty, tight circles, and code-of-the-streets thinking as central themes.
Across 12 tracks, Wolf Talk stays grounded in a raw, no-frills approach to hip-hop. The album leans into hard-edged production and direct lyricism, with titles like “God’s Grace,” “True Life,” and “The Assignment” suggesting a mix of street perspective and personal reflection. Joey Majors and Big Yount trade verses throughout, keeping the focus on bars and presence rather than chasing trends. The project maintains a consistent energy, built around straightforward delivery and a clear emphasis on authenticity.

The album also brings in a strong supporting cast that reinforces its underground credibility. Features from Eto, Tek, Kaine Sosa, and Coleone add different textures without shifting the core tone. Eto’s presence in particular aligns with the album’s gritty aesthetic, while Tek’s inclusion connects the project to a lineage of New York street rap that dates back decades. The result is a project that doesn’t chase trends or crossover appeal but stays rooted in the same raw, unfiltered approach that has defined both BSF and the broader resurgence of grimy East Coast hip-hop in recent years.
Wolf Talk is out now and available on all digital streaming platforms.
