After releasing two video snippets leading up to the release of his debut solo album, Donwill of the critically acclaimed hip-hop trio Tanya Morgan is excited to celebrate the official release date of Don Cusack In High Fidelity by giving fans the full MP3 version of “Pu**y Rules The World,” the album’s latest single. Having enticed fans with a chance to stream the album in its entirety on MySpace last week, the album is officially available for purchase today at both digital and physical retailers.

For the single, Donwill teams up with west coast emcees Mykestro and Bad Lucc, whose eloquent lines and personal anecdotes combine with a funk drumbeat and bass line to create an infectious track which gives off an old school vibe. Although the song’s title initially sounds of misogyny, Donwill explains, “The song is about being more critical of chasing skirts,” says Donwill. “It’s not a song degrading women, but more so questioning motives.” This message is driven home as Donwill raps about life having a more meaningful purpose than cash, clothes, cars, and girls.
