Zion I & The Grouch single “One” featured in the movie, Step Up 3D.
“Bay Area hip-hop group Zion I and Living Legends member The Grouch are back with another collaboration for the single “One,” directed by Vital Films. From the internationally hit film Step Up 3D (Touchstone Pictures) also featuring songs from T-Pain, Chromeo, Trey Songz, Busta Rhymes, and Flo Rida, the film grossed over $113,065,527 world-wide.
But “One” is just a taste of what’s to come from the groups’ highly anticipated follow-up to the 2006 Heroes in the City of Dope. “The new Z&G album is shaping up to be quite reflective and insightful,” notes Zumbi. “The concepts revolve around the direction that we are heading both as people and as a planet. It’s a soundtrack for the intense times that we are living in.””
