UNIVERSAL MOTOWN RECORDS RAP STAR
CHAMILLIONAIRE TO RELEASE SOPHOMORE ALBUM

First Single “Hip-Hop Police” featuring Slick Rick
#1 Most Added at Rhythm Crossover
#4 Most Added at Urban Radio

ULTIMATE VICTORY
IN STORES SEPTEMBER 18TH

The first single from the new disk, “Hip-Hop Police,” featuring legendary rap star Slick Rick, has already set hip-hop chat rooms a blaze and is the #1 Most Added song at RhythmCrossover and the #4 Most Added on Urban Radio.  Chamillionaire promises the song is just ‘the tip of the iceberg’ when it comes to Ultimate Victory, which he describes as ‘A very conceptual album where I really pushed my creativity.’

Chamillionaire’s rise from Houston underground rap pioneer to award-winning, mainstream music luminary was again affirmed when the prolific artist was nominated for two Grammy Awards, garnering nods in the Best Rap Song category and for Best Rap Performance By Duo or Group for the hit single “Ridin’,” featuring Krayzie Bone, from his platinum-plus debut album The Sound Of Revenge. The prestigious nods came on the heels of his two trophy-takedown at the First Annual BET Hip-Hop Awards, where Chamillionaire walked away with both the Rookie of the Year Award and the coveted Alltell Wireless People’s Champ (Viewers’ Choice) Awards.  The Houston rapper began his incredible run as the most honored hip-hop star of the past year by beating out proven superstars 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and T.I. for Best Rap Video for “Ridin'” at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards.

Chamillionaire’s platinum-plus debut disc has become one of the most lauded albums in hip-hop history, with the single and video for “Ridin'” topping almost every chart and single-handedly transforming the digital landscape, as well.  Incredibly, Chamillionaire became the biggest selling Ringtone artist in history, surpassing an amazing 4 million in ringtone sales, in addition to his groundbreaking Myspace site closing in on an astounding 6 million profile views.

The groundbreaking, two-part, nine minute “Hip Hop Police” video directed by Mark Klasfeld, plays like a short cinematic film, showcasing Chamillionaire’s acting prowess as the hip hop star physically transforms into three different characters, playing hip hop cop Hal Sharpless, news anchor Bob O’Wildy and news reporter, Cashus Burns, in addition to playing himself.

The premiere single produced by JR Rotem isn’t a record about real cops, but rather a clever play by the Houston rapper to address the national scrutiny that hip hop music and artists have received by critics and figures who continue to police hip hop, placing blame on the art form for social issues that the artist feels are deeper rooted. Also seen in the video is a rare cameo appearance by featured artist Slick Rick who switches into his own rival character, Detective Jeffrey Jackson.

With “Hip Hop Police” creating the perfect segue into “Evening News,” a bass heavy, Kane Beatz produced track, Chamillionaire gets into full character in the video as Bob O’Wildy, the opinionated Caucasian news anchor known for vilifying your favorite rapper.  As O’Wildy gets into a heated debate with Chamillionaire about different topics, including past and current events, ranging from hip hop, the war, gas prices, Kobe Bryant, Hurricane Katrina and even Kanye West’s comments about President Bush –  in the end – only one person wins the debate with public approval.

“I decided to make two separate videos and put them jointly together because the new album itself plays like a motion picture, with one song setting the stage for the next, before coming together at the very end to convey the message of ‘Ultimate Victory,’ says Chamillionaire.  “I felt the best way that I could drive my point across is to show the visual of both records
back to back.”

With the recent release of the latest installment of Chamillionaire’s famous mixtape series, “Mixtape Messiah 3” along with an hour long DVD for free download off his official website, the hip hop star is currently preparing for a 6-week promotional tour. Ultimate Victory, which features guest appearances by Lil’ Wayne, Krazyie Bone, Pimp C, Famous and Devin The Dude to name a few, in addition to production by Happy P, The Runners, Play N Skillz, The Beat Bullies and others will be released on September 18th.
