Fresh off their European tour, Brooklynati duo Tanya Morgan are excited to celebrate the iTunes release of the You & What Army EP, along with the release of “Rock The Bells,” a brand new visual from the project. Up next, Tanya Morgan will release a new album with producer 6th Sense.
While most artists were getting ready for SXSW, Von Pea and Donwill were busy collecting more stamps on their passports, kicking off a string of dates alongside The Artifacts, before teaming with Souls Of Mischief for a handful of UK performances. All in all, Tanya Morgan spread their gospel through Ireland, Germany, and France, an incredible experience, says the duo. “We had fans drive the tour van for fun; people singing along that don’t know English,” recalls Von Pea. “People that never met us were happy as hell to see us on their side of the map.” Donwill was thankful that his body was able to keep up with the hype. “I’m just happy my immune system didn’t completely crap out on me,” he said. “Touring is always fun and I’d say one of my fondest memories was signing a woman’s body – that doesn’t happen everyday.”
Now back stateside, Tanya Morgan is releasing the latest visual from their You & What Army EP, which is also now available for purchase on iTunes. The single, “Rock The Bells,” finds Von and Don settled atop a Brooklyn roof, theirLessondary crew of Black Spade, DJ ILL Digits, Aeon, P. So, and Spec Boogie in tow, as the duo celebrates and kicks back, enjoying the success that they’ve garnered by staying true to themselves.
