San Francisco Bay area native Celly Cel is back again in the media
spotlight and released his first DVD production earlier this week on
August 2, 2005 titled "Rap Life – Behind The Scenes," courtesy of
Realside Films.
Born Marcellus McCarver, Celly Cel grew up in the San Francisco Bay
Area and released his first album in 1994, "Heat 4 Yo Azz." In
1995, he released "Killa Kali," his best-selling album to date which
featured the classic MTV and BET Video, "It's Goin' Down." Earlier
this year, Celly released his follow-up project, "It'z Real Out
Here" which featured the radio hit, "I Want You."
