1+1+1 and The Hip Hop Mental Health Project

This benefit celebrates the culmination of The Hip Hop Mental Health Project’s
national tour of Rha Goddess’ LOW, the critically acclaimed off-Broadway
one-woman show. The Hip Hop Mental Health Project shifts the culture of
shame and alienation surrounding mental illness to satisfy our
community’s need for a SAFE place to confront mental health issues
and obtain access to vital resources and information.

Founded in 2001, 1+1+1=ONE is a national organization dedicated to
advancing the empowerment of individuals and communities to create positive
social change. Through three core programs: We Got Issues!, The Hip Hop Mental Health Project, and Eradicating Racism we address the need for social justice and transformation.
