Upon leaving DC’s club H20 this morning Harlem born rapper Cam’ron was approached by three men with the intent to carjack his blue Lamborghini that he’s been sporting in recent months. Cam wasn’t in a giving mood and attempted to drive off in order to keep his ride. The gunmen then opened fire. Reports are unclear as to how many times Cam’ron was hit but the word from his publicity firm is that he took two bullets.
The shooting is reported to have taken place at around 2:10 a.m. Cam’ron is currently recurperating at Howard University Hospital in DC. Some of his Dipset peers are there with him. Of the at least two shots that Cam’ron took, one was confirmed by his publicist to be in his arm. No comments from the police have been made as of yet.
Cam was in DC taking part in Howard University’s homecoming this weekend.
