The ridiculously talented French foursome, Birdy
Nam Nam– Little Mike, DJ Pone, DJ Need and Crazy B are coming to your town! They’ve killed it at DJ competitions,
winning in 2000 and 2002. And now
they’re going to kill it live on the select
dates below.
Birdy Nam Nam cover loads of ground on
their debut release of the same name. “New Birth” is pure beauty. They take you
on a dark and gloomy little ride in “I’nterlude de qualite” “Too Much Skunk Tonight” indeed. What a nasty little bass line they embed
in that track—and let’s not forget the acid lines, oh yes. My personal favorite
is “abbesses,” a stuttering number with personality for days. Who doesn’t love a
track with what sounds like an accordion AND strings in the same place? Anyway,
there are a lot of serious goodies for your ears here whether you’re a hip hop
head, jazz freak or electronic music lover. Birdy Nam Nam has ya covered.
